Recently, the Student and Quality Development Center of the Ministry of Education announced the selected cases for the 5th edition of the "Shining Days - The Way Youth Should Be in Employment and Entrepreneurship" event. Fan Mengjun, a graduate of the Investment majoring in the School of Economics and Finance at GZUC, was selected as a prominent figure in entrepreneurship.
Fan Mengjun，male, native of Shuicheng County, Guizhou. In 2021, he graduated from the School of Economics and Finance at GZUC, majoring in Investment. He currently serves as the CEO of Huadong Wine Group Co., Ltd. and the Chairman of Xiecheng Enterprise Operations Management Co., Ltd.
In his definition, youth is never ordinary for any generation. Young people are not mere bystanders or spectators of the era but pioneers and doers who shoulder missions and responsibilities.
His ideals and beliefs: the power of a ship lies in its sails and oars, the power of an individual lies in their ideals. As long as we have dreams in our hearts, we can reach distant places.
His story: despite coming from a poor family, the pursuit and yearning for a better life never left him. He was not discouraged by two failed attempts at the college entrance examination but rather perseverance to move gorward with determination. From being burdened with over 300,000 yuan in debt to be a co-founder of a company with monthly sales in the tens of millions, his journey has been filled with hard work, setbacks, and unwavering dedication to his dreams. His entrepreneurial dream was ignited when he came to GZUC after the college entrance examination. A small spark brought great energy, illuminating the path ahead. On his journey of chasing dreams, he always remembers the teachings of his mentors, Tang Tian and Yang Jun: "Heaven rewards diligent efforts, and dreams will set sail."
During his time at GZUC, he diligently studied theoretical knowledge, cultivated personal qualities, and actively sought business opportunities outside of school. With a background in investment, he responded to the national call for "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" by demonstrating the entrepreneurial spirit of Guizhou merchants. Guided by the school motto " Shaping characteristics with faith and integrity, cultivating application abilities with usefulness and evaluation" he sang a powerful anthem of struggle for the new era's youth.
He firmly believes that struggle is the most beautiful backdrop color of youth, and action is the most effective tempering for young people. He utilized his spare time to navigate through markets and office buildings, possessing a keen sense for business opportunities. Leveraging the powerful resources of big data development in Guiyang, he took on his first "business" by handling a company's business data. With his diligence, dedication, and responsibility, he earned his first bucket of gold in life. However, he knew that this was just the first step of a thousand miles. To go further and higher, he actively studied theory, culture, science, and skills. He continuously improved his intellectual qualities, physical fitness, spiritual character, and comprehensive abilities. Through innovation and entrepreneurship, he developed wisdom and capabilities while forging his willpower and character through arduous struggle.
In his second year of college, he invested in and established "Guizhou Baisheng Education Consulting Co., Ltd." and joined "Lunda AI Education" as a franchisee. In the same year, he founded "Guizhou Tuohang Human Resources Co., Ltd." and "Next-door Classroom Bar". Balancing academics and entrepreneurship, he led a life of rising early and working late, realizing that "entrepreneurship is much more difficult than imagined." The rewards of hard work are the best gifts from heaven for diligent individuals, and in the same year, his company achieved monthly revenue in the millions. In just six months, he opened three branch institutions for educational training, providing training to over 300 students.
In his third year, when his entrepreneurial path was flourishing, it encountered the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic. The management of his company became paralyzed, income plummeted, and monthly losses continued to accumulate. These chain reactions burdened this young person, who was only around 20 years old, both physically and mentally. The first phase of his entrepreneurial journey concluded with losses of over 700,000 yuan and debts of 300 thousand yuan.
He firmly believes that temporary failures are just the beginning of another stage in life. When a road fails to reach its destination and dreams seem out of reach, what we need to do is calm our minds, reflect, and adjust before recharging and starting again. With the support of his parents, guidance from teachers, and companionship from friends, he gradually emerged from the valley of entrepreneurial failure, climbed upwards, and moved forward with more strength, motivation, and direction.
He worked hard to complete his studies, summarized his experience from failure, reignited his entrepreneurial dreams, optimized his entrepreneurial strategies, and integrated entrepreneurial resources. In his final year, he completed a 15,000-word business plan for an enterprise operations management company. In March of the same year, he led a team to secure 2 million yuan in financing and founded "Guizhou Xiecheng Enterprise Operations Management Co., Ltd."
He wants to realize his own life value while striving for the realization of the Chinese Dream, and write a brilliant chapter that is worthy of the times and history with his youth. He aims to gather talents from all directions and provide more talent support and management consulting services for rural revitalization and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, thereby helping more people achieve their dreams. He combines the realization of his own value with the fate and future of the country, demonstrating the true essence of youth in the new era and new journey. In April of the same year, he invested in "Huadong Wine Group Co., Ltd." and successively operated "Guizhou Jinghong Driving School Co., Ltd.", "Guiyang Kaicheng Automobile Driving Training Co., Ltd.", and "Yijiao Xiaogang Liquor Industry Co., Ltd.". He also served as the CEO of Huadong Wine Group and the Chairman of Xiecheng Enterprise Operations Management Co., Ltd. As of now, the company has achieved stable development and entered its first period of rapid growth, with monthly sales reaching 10 million RMB.
He is Fan Mengjun, and he has demonstrated through practical actions that regardless of plains or mountains, sunny days or storms, as long as one maintains firm ideals and beliefs, cultivates solid skills, dares to innovate and create, perseveres through hardships, and hones noble character, they can achieve their life ideals.
